Removal of Non-Consensual Intimate Visual Depictions

This page explains how to ask us to remove an intimate visual depiction that was made available without the consent of the depicted individual.

A removal request may be submitted by the depicted individual, by a parent or legal guardian of a depicted minor, or by an authorized agent acting on behalf of the depicted individual. We accept reports concerning content alleged to depict individuals without their consent.

After you submit a request you will receive a Case ID. We aim to review valid requests and, where the request is valid, to remove the identified depiction and any known copies within 48 hours of receipt.

Please keep your Case ID. We will email you only once a decision has been made on your request, so you can track progress by retaining the Case ID or by contacting our designated agent.

Submitting a request by email

You may also submit a request by email to [email protected]. So that we can act on an emailed request, please include all of the following:

  • Your full legal name.
  • An email address where we can reach you, and your country of residence.
  • The capacity in which you are submitting: the depicted individual, a parent or legal guardian of a depicted minor, or an authorized agent of the depicted individual.
  • Information identifying the depiction — such as a URL, screenshot, generation ID, and date — that is sufficient for us to locate it.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the depiction was published or made available without the consent of the depicted individual.
  • A statement that you are the depicted individual or are authorized to act on behalf of the depicted individual.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the request is true and correct.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

How we handle your information

We treat removal requests as confidential. The information you provide is used only to review and act on your request, to communicate with you about its resolution, and to keep records required by applicable law. Access is limited to trained staff who handle these requests.

Providing a government-issued ID is not required — a signed statement is sufficient. If you choose to attach a screenshot as evidence, it is stored separately with restricted access, is not used to train any models or for any other purpose, and is deleted automatically after 30 days.

This procedure is provided in accordance with applicable law, including the TAKE IT DOWN Act, 47 U.S.C. § 223(h).
